Content Release Agreement
I hereby authorize Connection Publishing, to use any media materials I submit through connectionpub.com, or through email to the publishers of North Ogden Connection, Pleasant View Connection, Syracuse Connection, Ogden Connection or Roy Connection magazines in any way they see fit. Media may be used as content in any of the companies magazines and websites or promotional and marketing purposes such as, but not limited to, brochures, advertising, websites, magazines, social media accounts and other various media outlets. I acknowledge that the media materials I submit were either captured by myself or Connection Publishing. I further acknowledge that if the material is submitted to Connection Publishing by me, I willingly transfer copyright claims to Connection Publishing without compensation. I authorize Connection Publishing to use the media submitted for any purpose, in any manner, without further notification, authorization or compensation to me or anyone acting on my behalf. Media materials may include, but are not limited to, writing, hard copy and electronic photography, video recordings, and audio recordings in which an image or representation of myself is present. Once in the ownership of these photos, videos, audio recordings, or other media materials, Connection Publishing obtains possession of the items and is under no obligation to return and/or duplicate the media content. Connection Publishing will give credit, where appropriate to the owner/ writer/ producer/ artist of any media we use according to standard publishing regulations. RECIPES Please submit original Recipes and pictures or obtain permission for the recipe owner to publish their work. PHOTOGRAPH(S) We reserve the right to use any photograph submitted to us with limits or exceptions, though you get to keep ownership of the photograph and we will always give credit to the original artist. Not all photographs will win the photo contests but we may use them in other locations in the magazine or on our social media and digital properties. STORIES Do you know about local history? We want to hear your story and publish it in your city magazine. Please submit them here. We reserve the right to use the story and any photos without compensation to the author.
