I love to draw and sketch. The picture I'm submitting I drew for my sister for Christmas. She plays the violin and viola. I drew this for her and she has it hanging in her room.

I love to use pen I feel it has more of a dramatic affect. But I can make art with anything you can think of kind of a jack of all trades. I've been drawing since I could walk my mom would give me a pencil and paper to keep me busy. Because she was an artist and her mom before her. I've never had any additional training schooling, classes exc... didn't really find my love for pen tell the last 5 or so years but as soon as I find my technique I fell in love and never looked back.

This is an early self portait from when I was first learning about my personal style as an artist. It serves as a kind of time capsule to show where I've come from and how I've grown since. It's always been a personal favorite!

This was my first oil painting I had ever done. This particular piece took me about 2 months from start to finish. The first layer was basic shapes and outlines and were refined. Next I did an acrylic base coat to get the shapes the color I needed it to be and then I did an oil overlay and blended.

My piece is all done with Sharpie. No rough draft, and it's all free hand. My art is whatever you want to see. You can look at it 100x and see something different each time. My ultimate goal is to make an individual feel some type of emotion when they look at it.

Just a quick self portrait I drew. I got the inspiration from my initials.

The girl in this painting is obviously beautiful, but not societies normal. Her hair is messy & her nose isn't slim & petite. She's real, & that is what is important to me.

I painted this picture in acrylic paints and chalk.
The inspiration for my painting is Island Park. I love sitting on the dock in the morning watching the sun rise through the mist.
